If You Need Help With Rent
Rent is due on the 1st, and there may come a time when you need financial assistance for rent. As soon as you know you need help to pay by the 1st, please let us know your plans and set up a payment arrangement. You must contact us to avoid a 3 Day to Pay or Vacate notice and a $25 service fee added to your account. Late fees start accruing at 5:00 pm on the 5th of the month. They are $50 initially and $10 each day after ($60 on the 6th, $70 on the 7th). There are many options available, and we have gathered them below. Please find the right solution for your situation.
- Borrow from friends or family
- Pay with credit/debit card
- Religious assistance
- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
- Salvation Army
- Other religious entities
- State assistance – Navigation
- Homeless assistance – Aid for Friends
- Veteran assistance – VA
- Idaho Housing – Housing Preservation Program
- City Assistance – City of Pocatello Emergency Assistance Program
- Payment arrangement
- Early lease termination
If you are not able to find any assistance for rent, it is better to move than live at a property for which you’re not paying. Moving allows us to get it re-rented to help mitigate your costs.
